Book Review: Betrayed

Betrayed: A House of Night Novel
Review by Joanna, 14, Menifee County
Betrayed is the sequel to Marked in the series "A House of Night" by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast.  It is continuing Zoey Redbird's life through the house of night as a fledgling.  I thought it was sad even though it is a great book.

The book,  Betrayed, has bad language, but not much.  I would say that it would rank age 13 and older.  It is a great paranormal romance novel you'll love greatly!

Betrayed is a great book.  When it comes talking about things that are from the first book, Marked, for people who haven't read the book, it will help them catchup to what happened.  It also has a brilliant poetry that is given in the book.  The author is so great with powerful words used within the poems.

Book Review: Marked

Marked: A House of Night NovelReview by Joanna, 14, Menifee County

Marked comes from the book series “House of Night,” which talks about a school for newly, fledgling vampires.  I believe it is a good book for teens who love paranormal romance books/novels.  Although, it has some bad language and content that adults may not accept for their child to read.

The book was written by an award-winning fantasy and paranormal romance author named P.C. Cast and her daughter, Kristin Cast.

I believe she has done a good job with the poetry in the story.  It gives good, detailed poems you’ll love.
